about me
My name is Katherine and I grew up in Echuca surrounded by all manner of animals, but it was always dogs that held a special place in my heart. I now live on the farm I grew up on with my dogs, horse, goats, cows and sheep.

In 2020, my Charlie was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), prompting me to discover techniques and pain management outside of drug therapies. After my experience, I saw the need to get qualified and provide comfort, strength and relief to dogs in the region.
My Qualifications
Through the Canine Health & Wellbeing Academy, I have completed my Certificate in Canine Remedial Massage and my Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy.

Through Holistic Animal Studies, I have completed by Animal Cold Laser Therapy Certification.
Services
Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage uses heat and pressure to improve blood circulation, removing stale and stagnant blood from injured, sore and tight muscles and encouraging new blood packed with nutrients to take its place.
Massage can reduce pain and inflammation, help to stretch muscles and improve range of motion and a dogs overall health.

Low-level Laser Therapy
Low-Level Laser therapy (LLLT) uses near infrared light to penetrate the skin to increase cell regeneration, stimulate healing and reduce pain at a cellular level.
Laser therapy can be effecting in healing scar tissue, reducing inflammation and pain associated with arthritis and improving a dogs overall health.

Hydrotherapy
Leaps & Bounds uses a state of the art underwater treadmill that can be customized for each dog.
Hydrotherapy can:

strengthen and tone muscles for the show ring

build stamina and fitness for sporting dogs

encourage weight loss in an overweight dog

gain strength, mobility and balance in dogs recovering from surgery or illness
